Scholly Wants To Help Fund Your Computer Science Degree With This $10,000 Scholarship

Scholly is excited to launch our Women of Color In Tech $10,000 Scholarship, sponsored by Google!

Women are the tech leaders of the future, but they face many challenges. Today, fewer women are graduating with tech degrees: according to Pew Research Center, only 19% of computer science bachelor’s degrees in the United States are being granted to women. The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that women will hold just 20% of computing jobs by 2025, a gap that has gotten worse in the last 30 years.

While progress has been made, there is still a lot of work to be done in promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. Scholly is committed to helping close the gender tech gap, and we want to do our part for the next generation of tech by helping as many women as possible gain access to the resources they need to succeed.

This scholarship invites high school seniors and undergraduate women who are Black, Latina, and/or Native and are currently pursuing or have completed a computing related degree to apply! A Scholly subscription is not required to apply for this scholarship.

Twenty (20) winners will receive $10,000 each. Please note, there is a second round to this scholarship. We will notify you if you are eligible to advance to the second round.
