As a multi-disciplinary designer skilled in both marketing and user experience (UX) design, Layla works laterally across different teams to make affordable education an accessible reality. Scholly's mission is a personal one as she dropped out of university to avoid further student debt and launch a business using design to create awareness for social causes in Greater Boston. While there, she started the city's first annual Walk for Literacy, now in its tenth year, and served for one year in AmeriCorps. After completing a fellowship in Nonprofit Management & Leadership at Boston University, Layla switched over to the tech sector to contribute to social good organizations like Scholly.
When Layla isn't working on design strategy, you can find her on adventures with her dog Batman or wherever there is chocolate cake.
